We’re thrilled to announce the project, “Co-developing Art Technologies for more Inclusive Visual Art Spaces”.
This partnership between CVAN London and Dr. Sara Adhitya (UCL PEARL) with ActionSpace was awarded Knowledge Exchange Innovation Funding from UCL Art Futures and seeks to develop knowledge and skills on how to enable equity and inclusion in art spaces and working environments.
Working in close partnership with a number of CVAN London members, we will examine the issues arising within arts spaces and working environments from the point of view of neurodivergent artists and arts organisations, and explore questions of:
How can technologies help artists with learning disabilities, who may potentially be non-verbal, to communicate their artistic endeavours and participate in co-creation processes?
ii. How can technologies improve the accessibility of studio environments and the curation of exhibition spaces for neurodivergent artists?
