This session welcomed Sheryll Catto, Artistic Director & CEO of ActionSpace. Sheryll is leading opportunities for learning-disabled artists, particularly those with high support needs, to participate in all areas of the artworld.

Sheryll discussed how ActionSpace supports learning disabled artists to work as artist educators and workshop leaders. Sheryll highlighted two case studies:

• Andrew Omoding at Camden Arts Centre (2016-2018)  and Tate Schools (2024-2025)
• Linda Bell for the British Museum (2021-2022) and Hospital Rooms at Springfield Hospital (2022-2023)

We then heard from Flora Bain, ActionSpace, and Livvy Murdoch, Autograph, on how they are developing a partnership project for Autograph’s SEN Family Programme
