CVAN London’s Play & Participation: Developing Artists’ voices in participatory art facilitation

\ News \ News & Events

CVAN London would like to thank the wonderful facilitators – artist Chahine Fellahi and Najia Bagi, Head of Creative Learning at The Mosaic Rooms, the brilliant participating artists and the wonderful team at Rosetta Arts for such an inspiring gathering focused on developing artists’ voices in participatory art facilitation last week.

The sessions offered generous insights into creative programmes that bring people together through different mediums and methods to build spaces of collective learning.

It was a pleasure to explore facilitation, the role of play in creative learning, and how artists can hold space for shared and collaborative experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation and contributed their ideas, reflections and practice.

A special thank you to Jan De Schynkel and Venetia Cheetham for hosting us and for sharing the wonderful work taking place at Rosetta Arts.

This programme is delivered with the support of Arts Council England funding.

Stay tuned for further developments from these workshops as CVAN London looks forward to sharing some of the beautiful outcomes that emerged from these sessions with a collaborative exhibition.
