We welcomed the conversation with Sara Adhitya, Sheryll Catto and our director Jo Townshend at a sharing event for the knowledge exchange project Co-developing Art Technologies for More Inclusive Visual Art Spaces, hosted by CVAN London on Wednesday 20 May.
Sara, Sheryll and Jo discussed the collaborative project between CVAN London and University College London, sharing the project findings and inviting attendees into a conversation around the early recommendations.
The project Co-developing Art Technologies for More Inclusive Visual Art Spaces responded to CVAN London members’ call for greater knowledge and skills to support equity and inclusion in the visual arts. It brought together a focused working group to explore barriers in arts environments from the perspective of neurodivergent artists and organisations. The project aimed to co-develop approaches to reduce inequalities, improve studio and exhibition access, and develop tools that increase agency for neurodivergent artists within the sector.
We were delighted to welcome everyone to this important discussion.
